Changes in management

After many years of hard efforts, TioTech`s CTO, Dr. Robert W. Corkery, is moving on to other adventures. We are grateful to Robert for his valuable contributions building up our technology, his strong knowledge about materials science and his ability to never give up and always come up with new ideas. We wish Robert all the best for the future! 

Dr. Lars Thoresen (picture), who has been employed as Process Engineer in TioTech since 2022, will take on the role as Interim CTO. Lars is an experienced researcher and engineer, having broad competence in chemistry and process technology both from academic research and industry. As a medicinal chemist for Agouron Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer), he conducted the first chemical synthesis of the cancer drug Rucaparib.  

Since 2022, Lars has worked with the development of TioTechs TitanB^TM and the scaling of the production process. “With recent improvements we have made in our production process I believe that we can produce TitanB^TM economically and at scale”, says Dr. Thoresen.  

Loaded with first-hand knowledge about the properties and production process of TitanB^TM, Lars is ready to the take lead on the implementation of TitanB^TM in commercial battery cell productions.
