Dr. LARS H. THORESEN

Lars started his career with a PhD in Organic Chemistry (Texas A&M University) and a PostDoc from University of Oxford, before continuing as a medicinal chemist in San Diego. He then spent a few years sailing around the world, occasionally working on research vessels. After a year back in San Diego working as a beer brewer, he returned to chemistry as a researcher in Nofima, working with feed and food process technology. In TioTech, he works with process optimization and build-up of our pilot facilities. Lars is a true adventurer, who has sailed from California to Norway via the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic Ocean alone! And still has the boat, to always be ready to set sail for new adventures.
